PAFLA Meets Pakistan’s Ambassador in Moscow to Explore Global Training for Freelancers
Pakistan’s youth have immense talent. They need access to world-class skills and global opportunities to earn internationally and strengthen Pakistan’s economy.
That thought stayed with me at the II Global Digital Forum 2026 in Moscow, where we had the privilege of meeting H.E. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation. I was joined by Dr. Imran Batada, Global CIO Award Winner and President of PAFLA, Brigadier (Retd.) Arif Saleem, Hamza Saleem and Mohid Ayyaz.
What we discussed
Our discussions explored opportunities for Pakistan’s freelancers to access free, high-end international training in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, emerging technologies and other globally demanded fields.
We are exploring international partnerships and alliances through the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) to assist the youth of Pakistan in developing itself with globally competitive skills and get them international clients, work and earn in foreign currency, and boost foreign exchange in Pakistan through digital exports.
I sincerely thank H.E. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi for his valuable time, encouragement and engagement.
How this will help young freelancers
One of the biggest challenges for a young freelancer is not talent but access. Many skilled individuals remain stuck in low-paying positions without access to quality training, such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
If we can open that door, the benefits are practical:
1) Better skills. Training in fields the world is hiring for, helps freelancers compete for more complex, better-paid work.
2) More international clients. Better skills and better profile not only help get customers at home but also in foreign countries. Each project that’s sold abroad, earns dollars in this country.
3) Earnings in foreign currency. Every project sold to an international client brings money into the country.
4) A real career. Instead of a short-term side income, freelancing can become something that a young person can turn into over many years, earning sustainable digital income.
This also connects to something I said earlier in Moscow: the next ambition for Pakistan’s freelancers must be bigger than providing services. It means building globally competitive businesses and international partnerships, and that starts with the right skills.
This is just the beginning
Our vision is to transform youth potential into economic strength through advanced skills, successful freelancing careers and sustainable digital earnings.
More international partnerships and opportunities for Pakistani freelancers and young digital professionals are on the way. Stay connected with PAFLA.
Our mission: World-class skills for Pakistani youth. Global earnings for freelancers. Greater foreign exchange for Pakistan.
